Social Events at Encore Pool 

Several times throughout the pool season, WGHOA host social events for members and their guests.  We would like to invite you to mark your calendar to join us in the fun. All dates and events are subject to change. Check the pool board for announcements and email will be sent home to members about event date and times.

Opening Day: First Saturday in May. Come out and enjoy the festivities as we kick off the new pool season. Enjoy a hot dog, bag of chips and soda. There will be fun games for the kids of all ages.

Community Potluck: Every family in attendance brings a dish to share, Sign ups at the check-in desk.

4th of July Independence Day: Join us in celebrating our Nations Independence by wearing your red, white and blue. Compete in the watermelon relay race, see just how far you can throw a watermelon into the water and take part in the challenging watermelon eating contest. Prizes are awarded to the winners. 

Father's Day:  Join us in celebrating the dads of our community with root beer floats. (we also have Coke and orange floats.)

Night Swim: When the sun goes down, the pool lights come on! Join us at the popular night of swimming under the summer stars.  WGHOA will provide tasty s'mores for everyone. There will be no Lifeguard on duty.

Kids Day: Who wouldn't want to be a kid... Kids day is filled activities for the kids of all ages. Dive in the pool as WGHOA host the penny dive. It is not just pennies anymore you will find nickels, dimes, quarters and sometimes even $1 coins. Use your change at the snack shop to get your favorite snack. Special thank you to Arty Party for the great activities in years past.
