Encore Pool Membership & Rules – 2025 Season
Membership Requirements
- Current Dues: Must be paid in full to access the pool.
- Annual Updates: Photo and membership info must be updated yearly via your Online Membership account.
- Database Status: Members must be listed as “current” with a valid photo on file.
For Renters:
A Landlord Permission Form must be on file. Get this directly from the association.
Pool Rules and Guidelines
General Safety
- No running in the pool area.
- Rinse off in the outdoor shower before entering.
Health Restrictions
- No entry if you’ve had a cold, rash, pink eye, diarrhea, or other communicable illness in the past 48 hours.
Pool Attire
- Hair longer than shoulder-length must be tied back.
- Only proper swimwear allowed—no street clothes, inappropriate suits (e.g., thong-style), or underwear (even under swimsuits).
Children & Non-Swimmers
- Non-swimming children who can’t stand in the pool must be accompanied by an adult—flotation devices don’t replace supervision.
- Wading Pool: For children under 5 only. Quiet, passive play only.
Diaper Policy
- All children must wear swimsuits.
- Non-potty-trained toddlers must wear approved swim diapers—no paper or cloth diapers.
Pool Etiquette & Access
Gate Access: ONLY open the gate for your own family and guests.
Lifeguard Stand: For lifeguards only. Misuse = membership suspension for the season.
Adult Swim: 15 minutes each hour reserved for adults (18+). Children under 2 may stay in the pool only if held by a parent/guardian and within 1 foot.
Pool Access & Staffing
Staffed Hours
- Pool hours will be posted at the pool.
- Lifeguard and Gate Attendant are on duty during staffed hours.
- All members must check in and out with the attendant.
- Members must present their key card with membership ID for admission.
Non-Staffed Hours
- No employees are present.
- Admission is by key card only.
- Only paid adult members (18+) with a valid key card may enter.
Minors & Supervision
Under 18 Without Adult Supervision
- Not allowed during non-staffed hours.
- Will be asked to leave immediately.
- Member’s pool key will be deactivated and referred to the Board of Directors.
Unaccompanied Minor Rules (During Staffed Hours Only)
To qualify, a minor must:
- Be 8 years or older
- Be a current pool member
- Pass a swim test administered by an Encore lifeguard
- Have a signed Unaccompanied Minor Form on file
- Agree to follow all Encore Pool rules
Special Rule for 14-Year-Old Members
- May visit the pool without a parent when a lifeguard is on duty
- May bring one guest
- Must ensure their guest follows all pool rules
Gate Access
- Members may not open the gate for anyone except their own family or guests.
- Violations will result in key deactivation and Board review.
Key Cards & Membership
- Original card will be deactivated upon report
- One key card per membership per season
- Activated after seasonal payment is received
- Renters must submit a landlord approval form before receiving a key
- Lost key cards may be replaced once for a $20 fee
