Throughout the pool season, WGHOA hosts a variety of social events for our members and their guests.

Opening Day Celebration
Generally, the second Saturday of May from 1-3 pm*.
Members favorite as we kick of the new season join the WGHOA Board and other members of the community.
Enjoy a complimentary hot dog with all the fixings, bag of chips and your choice of soda.
While you are there reconnect with your neighbors or meet some new friends.

Father’s Day Floats
June 14th, 2026, from 1-3 pm*
Treat Dad to a sweet celebration with root beer, Coke, and orange floats — plus non-dairy ice cream options.

Kids Day
TBD 1-3 pm
A day just for the kids! Join in for fun pool games, including:
Coin Dive — with nickels, dimes, quarters, and more!
Redeem your finds at the Snack Shack for your favorite treats.
4th of July Independence Day Bash
Show your patriotic spirit in red, white, and blue.
Compete in:
- Watermelon Relay Race
- Watermelon Toss
- Watermelon Eating Contest
- Coin Dive
- Prizes for the winners!
Community Night and Night Swim
Bring your favorite dish to share! (NO Glass) Sign-ups available at the check-in desk.
Enjoy an evening dip under the stars with pool lights aglow. Tasty s’mores provided by WGHOA.
(Note: No lifeguard on duty during this event.)
Movie Nights
Fridays in August Movies start at dusk about 7:45 pm until the movie is done.
Watch a movie on the screen while swimming in the pool. Community favorite. (No lifeguard on duty during this event)
